This was attributed to and uttered in a Shakespearen play. Would you agree that Man (not of the fairer gender) has also become rather vain.
I mean, there is an industry catering to Men for preening themselves - and the facial spas catering to Men only. And they do go for cosmetic surgery too.
And do look out for all the pretty boy bands existing in the various parts of the world?!!

carpediem oh yes we have one resident male here who always stops
at the mirrors in the hall to look at himself.,He preens himself
like a woman,adjusts his necklace, checks his ear rings and
combs his hair again. I swear he is the most feminine man I have
seen in ages. they tell me he lost his wife and children in a
bad auto crash.sohe was married and fathered children. however
I guess he just wants to look good like we all do.lol lol.

hi Hatley - whoa and I see that he is properly accessorised too. But I don't fancy a man who is too vain. As long as he exhibits the good traits of moral responsibility and maintaining good hygiene, I think he is good to go.

Men are quite vain now. I have nothing against vain man but I still love men who doesn't really care that much about appearance. For me as long as you take a bath everyday, keep your nails short, comb your hair and change your underwear that's good enough. Oh yeah they should also brush their teeth.

I agree. Todays society seems more open now to male vanity without thinking of them as gays. This is good because it allows individuals to express themselves in whatever ways they choose.

hi astreadido, yup if the guy looks good and takes care of himself in terms of grooming, he certainly stands out. But there are instances when the guy overdo the preening and takes longer than a gal whilst preparing to go out for the evening and perhaps look at every mirrow that he passes. In that instance, I am abit concerned if he is getting too self-absorbed.
