A pleasant day Fellow Mylotter, I am just wondering how some people keep their face smiling although they feel something inside. Although they are not that happy to keep their face smiling. Although they are not feeling well, yet, they can still smile infront of others. As for me, it is not that easy. I am not capable of smiling the whole day infront of others especially if I dont feel well. Nonetheless, I have to keep smiling though its hard to do it. Since, the nature of my job so requires. How about you Fellow Mylotter, how do you keep a smiling face? How do you keep a smiling face though you feel something painful inside?

Hi Airasheila!. I think its not easy keep our pain inside but smile sometimes help you not get pity from others. I think most people not like what they look outside, I think most of has untold story thats we can not easily share with others. I always try not to look so depressed when I have problem so my friend rarely noticed it but someone who really know me can reads my eyes .

It is very hard to smile when I am not feeling to smile and I can rarely do it. When I am morally down, then it shows up to my face, I cannot make fake smiles. It is not my style to act other than I am. If I feel bad, you will know it if you look at me. But fortunately I can recover very fast, and then the smile comes back to my face and I forget that I was sad only a few hours ago.

Well, how I wish that I can recover fast. Since, now a days, a lot of trials are coming into my life. That, there are times, I am trying out my very best to give a cheerful smile. Yet, I find it difficult to do it.

Hi airasheila, I could smile easily all the time. I know if I want to have a happy and healthy life I always try to have positive thinking. We could enjoy pleasant life with our loved ones and people around often if living as an optimistic person. But there is time that I couldn't smile or laugh relaxingly. Yeah, that is when I encounter severe problem which is not easy to resolve. Or I I fall sick and suffer from disease. I can't smile as well if I have to tolerate the painful toothache or any other ache. Showing more genuine loving and caring toward people around instead of excessive blame and complaint and other negative accusing, etc. Though sometimes I suffer from physical pain like stomachache I still have to tolerate a bit which I could bear. This is to avoid my dear and close ones to worry about the pain. I would feel uneasy if my case disturbing their usual life. If I really couldn't settle myself I then would ask my beloved companion to help me. Hoping seeing these smileys would make our happy mood here to the fullest lol....

What keeps me smiling even though I am sometimes troubled? First, I start the day with the thought that something great is going to happen today and that I can't wait to see what it is. You know what, something great always does happen and I recognize it because I'm looking for it. Sometimes it's something really big but oftentimes it is something as small as seeing the first bud on one of my rosebushes. The second thing that I day is write a list of all of the things that I have to be grateful for. When I realize that I have things like a bed to sleep in, a pillow on which to lay my head, blankets to keep me warm and always have plenty of food in the fridge, I realize how lucky I am. So many people in the world lack basic necessities and it is hard for me to feel sorry for myself when I have more than enough of everything that I need. Good luck

That's the reason why my mother looks younger than her age. She wears that smiling face everytime which I envy a lot because I can't do it. Sometimes,I wish I was like her who can smile even when in pain. It's really hard for me to do it especially when I am thinking or focusing on my work. Moreover, if I am not feeling well. I hope I can put some smileys here...^_^

Well, for me, it's just come out naturally. Especially when someone, nodded at me and smile at the same time, I automatically reciprocate the gesture. My thinking is, that person has nothing to do of what I feel that time and even doesn't know what I'm going through, so why shoud I involve and let him/her feel my agony? And beside, smile is the only thing we can share for free and it will surely lift up one's spirit. Happy mylotting.

I have this problem a lot. Everything I feel and am thinking is written all over my face. As much as I want to try and smile when sometimes it feels like my world is crumbling around me, I just can't do it. I really wish I was like some others that can put a smile on even when they are going through tough times.

i don't keep a smiling face when i don't feel very well physically that would be very hard. but if i really have to i just hold it in and get some pain killers. other than that, i don't have much difficulty with smiling, i've been known as somebody who smiles like i have no problems, but i do it's just that if i think about it, a frown won't help it and will just make me older faster.
