No, but English is my first language and I am usually pretty good with grammar. MyLot has, though, helped me come up with ideas for articles that I write elsewhere. I've found some good sites through myLot, too. I think it's great that myLot is so international, when so may sites are not.

True.they are indeed sites that don't offer international service which is really frustrating to hear.I also agree that I found many ideas for articles as I am also writing some.I hope mylot will continue like this.

I would say myLot helped me to be more imaginative. Many topics here taught me how to think so that I could give helpful responses. Indeed I would say myLot is the best forum site so far.

English is not my first language either and I believe Mylot might have helped a little on my way to becoming a better writer. You are given a lot of opportunities to practice the language on Mylot, and you can help and get helped by others, which is great.

I think Mylot is a big help to improving people's writing abilities simply because of its nature of repetition. It is asking you to respond to and start discussions on a regular basis thus making you write and read more of the language. Anything that asks you to continually practice is going to do wonders for improving your abilities. You are doing a great job with your English by the way. I've come across many people who are natural born American citizens who don't represent themselves as well as you are. Congrats on your accomplishments and keep up the good work.

I can't measure my happiness and I thank God that I have the ability to understand and learn fast.Eventhough I am far from what they call America or Any country that involves English,I always think that no one can block my way of learning what I want and how many language I want.I think in this way,I can earn more friends around the world If I have the capacity to speak more than 2 languages. It's really great help.

My writing has already improved even before joining Mylot. It improved not through all these money making sites, but it's in school. Ok, back to the topic, through Mylot, I can feel that my typing speed was a lot more faster than last time. Last time, my average speed was medium. Now it's fast. Perhaps it's because I wanted to catch up with the responses.

I don't think so. I'm not taking anything away from mylot. I mean, mylot is a great community or social site but I just don't see it helping me become a better writer. Why? Because mylot doesn't have the feature that can correct me when I'm grammatically incorrect. I just type and express my feelings not knowing whether the words and sentences I made up are right. Haha. Spelling check is there but it isn't enough. And yes people here are responsive, helpful and sharing discussions but I don't see them teaching nor correcting English writing or grammar checking. So again my answer is no. :)

Definitely. Practice makes perfect as they say. MyLot has given a form of exercise in expressing my opinions on a particular subject matter. Also, a good way to hone my English writing skills. Thank you MyLot!

English is my second language but I can't still say I'm very good with it. I used to enter foreign chat rooms just to practice my English, and many times I had bad experiences with those sites. Luckily I discovered MyLot, here I can practice English while posting topics, comments and responses. I am also dreaming that one day I will be able to write articles for extra income. Happy mylotting!

I have been using My Lot for quite a while now and I really do think that regular posting here improves your writing skills! I love the very act of writing and communicating my thoughts and there's a lot of pleasure to be had in this. I think that the very fact that you are communicating with others here and posting in discussions well, this is a great source of help for you. I have certainly learnt a lot from other people on My Lot! There's always something that we have no knowledge of and we can obtain this information from someone else here. Anyway, I have the firm belief that the more you write the better you become. Regular writing certainly improves your communication skills in a huge way. Andrew
