Does it look like they were selling drugs or not?

Me and my daughter came walking back towards our apartment last week. I had just gotten her off of the bus. And, two guys was standing in front our our apartment building. One of them was tall and the other one was short in height. I was walking and I happened to glance at one of them. The taller guy's back was facing towards the short's guy face, so he did not see me. But the shorter guy saw me. The guy was giving him something sneakily in his hand. And when he saw me, looking at him, he moved away quickly. I could tell by his body language and facial expression that he was doing something that he had no business doing. And he did not want me to see what it was. But I knew better anyways. I also remember months back when we first moved out here, we was coming up the stairs to go to our apartment. And there was this guy that was sitting on the stairs. He was a heavy set guy. He had his head hanging down. It looked like he was intoxicated! He did not say anything to us at all. He just sat there and he did not bother to move as we was coming up the stairs. The hallway sometimes smells like wheed. The lady that lives in front of us had to spray air freshner because the hallway smelled like wheed. It just does not make any sense!

Maybe, maybe not. It doesn't really prove anything. If they aren't bothering you and they aren't causing any trouble, I wouldn't worry about it. Just tell your daughter to stay away from them.

Somethimes we k=like to ignore things and imagine that bad things never happen so that we could get a good night sleep. i think this is why the old lady sprayed the hall with air freshner intead of doing something to prevent that smell from invading again ( like annouce the authorities).

Take it from me it probably was. I've seen stuff like that happen and yeah it probably was. It's sad that this has to happen in places where there are children who can easily inhale the smoke and teenagers who can easily get caught up in this type of lifestyle.

i think for you to have a peace of mind you should transfer home for the sake of your daughter.as a parent we don't want our child to grow with that kind of environment. There is a possibility that what you think about what they were doing was true, you can also be mistaken. same with the safety of your child & your family we can never tell how safe to be in that place having that kind of situation happening.
