I Failed a Discussion

It happens..you can start or reply to a discussion without scrutinising the rules on posting beforehand,and the next thing you know,the discussion has been pulled by the Admins..you just have to be careful..better luck next time!

Thanks for sharing this. I wasn't aware of this either. I read their guidelines but not all the rules have absorbed into my brain. Am I glad you decided to share the predicament you have experienced. This reminds us to be cautious at times. It's a learning experience.

There are certain rules that sometimes we tend to overlook. But, admin, is just making sure everything is under strict supervision. I'd say learn from it. I think no mylotter here has not experienced what you just had. nce in awhile I got discussions deleted and even responses due to violations of guidelines. But, yes, do not let this thing daunted you to continue being a lotter. We all err from time to time.:)

hi ellyse! don't be upset ellyse.i am so happy and thankful that you willing to share it with us. i know about the guidelines but i really have no idea which it really referring to.there are many mylotters paste links to an articles,videos etc which is sometimes a normal link from normal sites or links from paid sites like they invite others to read their articles and they get paid from it. but i think they should look at your links first before assume it as a referral link. its unfair as you just paste a link to download thing than others who paste links and get paid from it yet their discussion is still there. i think next time when you have something just make a discussion that you have something to share and anyone who wants it need to PM you. thanks again ellyse for that ebook! Mylot is super strict but it is not all Mylot, members post up "tags" saying violating rules or whatever and then mylot advisers view it and delete.. It happened to me. I am sure they monitor but not that closely but other members are mean/rude (ones that I came across). My ratings was 9 stars and all of a sudden went down to 4 in a day. I did nothing wrong to offend anyone but there are some people who are not very friendly.

Following instructions and rules is the best way to do. Be honest to ourselves and enjoy joining the discussion.

Right, I guess we all need to read and follow guidelines. I've had my share of deleted posts, and it needs a little getting used to. From what I see with other posts, when they post a link that is not a referral link, they put something like "not a referral link". Me, I refrain from posting any link whatsoever. It is quite enjoyable here, so I don't mind the guidelines.
