well, i studied so that I'd be closer to the profession that I wanted to have. Now, I'm like four more years away from it but I'm having second thoughts of going back to a student life - all those tests, readings and other school work is really tiring. A year off from all those, after finishing one degree, I'm still a bit uncertain about what I'll do with my life. studying is good, it gives us knowledge what experience can't or could not explain in details, I guess.

Honestly, this is the shortest discussion message I've ever encountered. Well, I study because I need and love to gain knowledge. It's not about getting a good job or something like that, you know, that thing will follow. I love to be smart because you can do a lot of things and save you a lot of money, too!

Why? Obviously, for me, work. I need a degree to be promoted and gain extra knowledge regarding my field of work. These days, lots of youngster graduated with Master or Degree and I need to compete with them. I don't intend to be comfortable with my current job and pretend I'll stay there forever without a problem. It's best to have a better qualification after my diploma.

Well, the obvious answer to your question is because I want to have the knowledge necessary for my future. I would like to add why I chose to take a more scientific course and not something like culinary arts. Before, I wanted to take up culinary arts, and my parents were alright with it. Then I received my confirmation letter from a good university, and it was this computer science course. My parents wanted me to go there instead and I decided to take it despite my love for culinary arts because I knew it was more promising in the future, and that culinary arts is something that I could learn as a hobby. So in a nutshell, I am studying because I want to and because it's for the future. But it's funny how your parents could affect your decisions about education, what and where to study.

I study because I am endlessly, eternally curious. How does this thing work? Why can't you do it that way? How did that happen? Just always wondering about the world around me. Sometimes I learn things, but I spend a lot more time finding out that there is a lot I still do not know.
