How many of you for real earn a living from blogging? If so how do you do this? I think there are people who do, but I would like to know are you paid to advertise, paid for links or what? How many blogs do you have? What do you use to drive traffic to your blog?

Well make a few hundred every few months from about 8 main blogs - but took a long time to get ranked, up to 18 months. The high earners are generally those that stated a few years ago (e.g. problogger, grizz make money, john chow, and others) but they have built up trust and authority, including thousands of search targeted keywords in their posts. Hard to beat them unless you adopt a paid approach - pay for popular keywords, pay for content writers, but also do back link strategies, trending your keywords, etc.
