They still have not found the equipment yet

That is the fancy commode chair and the communication device yet. That is what was returned to Deer Lodge and the Als society after my husband died. I have no idea what has happened and I should not have to pay for it because by paying that would admit that I was guilty in knowing that the men who came to pick it up were from somewhere else. And I do not want to talk to the lady from the ALs because she blamed me for it. So I am going through the nice lady from Deerlodge and now the nice lady from the Palatative care who will be a go between. I think it was lost in the system that is very complicated here in Winnipeg. I know there is one other company, SMD and that all these companies are in contact with each other so if the pick up takes the wrong stuff, they just call and say "we got your chair" or "it is not one of us," but I doubt that they have their heads on straight so now I am waiting until the Palatative care lady knows if maybe the Home Care picked it up by mistake or if there is another company involved. There is also the Health Services from the Hospital as well so in reality there are not just one or two, but three or four health related companies and they all supply different equipment. What I think what happened is that my nurse friend got a call from the Health Services or the Winnipeg Health Society who was to pick up the equipment and said that I had to be home because they were going to pick it up. But she did not tell me that they were going to pick up the commode chair, or the communication device or whatever. And had we had not the van being serviced, we could have easily taken the equipment back ourselves, so we were stuck. She is more of a writing everything down type, while I am more of a visual memory and listen memory type. But she did not write it down. She came yesterday and told me that I have to pay for the equipment as they have not found it so I told her that would mean I have to sell the house, move out of the city, and basically take everything with me and hide. So I suspect she was teasing me. then we had to rake all the leaves from the front. Now I had just walked to the store to pick up some groceries because my older son was coming over today and there was something going on in the afternoon, and I did have to get much. So when she called to give me that horrible news, she said we have to get rid of the leaves off the front lawn and here I was thinking, I had better get on the computer to make some money because well the money I make on line goes to my online high interest account and is not as traceable as the money I get on pension,( not that I should pay for the equipment and the law would say that I am an innocent victim,) but the Deerlodge society knows about our joint account because we rented some equipment from them and might go and garnishee our account there. So the question is would you close out a bank account if you knew that someone might make some withdrawals from it to pay for something that they figured you had lost or mislaid and not returned?
