Honestly, I don't know what it's supposed to mean. LOL. 
I met this guy in a chatroom and we kind of clicked right away because we have something in common - like in music, movies and I guess I could pretty say he's a good potential to be a good friend. We've been talking for a two weeks now and just last night, he said the lines I stated above. "You're illegally hot." 
I was laughing because I don't know what he meant by it. Am i under arrest? Or am I a pirated version of myself? I'm not married or attached to someone. I didn't bother asking him though because I was laughing and he said he was serious. Just not to offend him, I just said thank you and appreciate his "compliment". Guys these days. You just can't figure them out sometimes.
Please help me guys. Maybe you're my silver lining in this punchline of his. LOL

"Illegally hot", what is that suppose mean? I have no idea how to decode this line though. Well, you can ask him straight out since you are good friend. Maybe what he meant that you are funny and charming in an unusual way, that is my thought.

I think that means the same as "you are dangerously hot". You know, like "hot" to a superlative degree.
If I could interpret guy's right, (which is quite impossible.LOL) I think he likes you.

This is the first time i heard about that kind of comment. You could take it as nothing or anylize it a bit deeper. Why would he say the word "illegal"? if you're unattached then could it be that he is the one who'se already attached? . Well, i don't want to spoil your fun but in a place where almost everything is expressed in words, it's pays to be mindful of every slightest hints and clues. But then again, it could really mean nothing. In the end, it's up to you to discern whether a friend has good intentions or not.
