Military vs. Athletes

United States

I have been a military wife now for 10 years. Times have been very hard money wise more than once in this time. Pro athletes makes millions and hardly ever have any issues unless of course they have addictions and do stupid things. I just hate the fact that they make millions of dollars a year and the military families struggle to make it pay day to pay day and yet they risk their lives by helping other countries. Good on the millionaires that support the military and contribute to them but how many dont? Lets switch places! Put us in their place and them in the place of the military member that goes to fight and does not come home or has to come home with out friends. It just gets on my nerves. Let me know what you think. (remember, this is just my opinion.)

jltrent I think we have our priorities all screwed up in the U S and we need to rethink them. oUr military deserves much better than a bunch of overpaid athletes. they could do with a few less million and the military could use a lot more funds to keep their families the way they' should be kept.I am a baseball and basket b all fan but still I think its weird how much these people make in comparison to men and women who put their lives on the line to defend their country.
