I think with that capital you can start your e-load business. I think it would complement your sari-sari store. Most of us have cellphones right? We usually buy cellphones loads in stores like yours. I watched Jessica Soho last Sunday and she featured young entrepreneurs. There was this 19-year old who started with a loading business and eventually got into franchising. In the afternoon, you can also sell street foods as an additional income. Good luck on your business venture!

hello there. i personally think an e-load business is more feasible, and surely it will work. everyone has cellphone, that is right. :)

I would suggest you start a buy and sell business. Try to find anything that you can buy low that you can sell high. For example go to a garage sale, buy your friends newspaper or bottles and bring it to a junkshop, buy your friend's dollar if he is lazy to bring it to the money changer because it is just a small amount, check the classified adds for bargains. The name of the game is develope a keen eye for spotting treasures and opportunities even in a heap of garbage that seem to look valueless or worthless. If you do not touch your initial capital and keep it rolling(the bigger it gets the better) you will be surprised how later on you will be spotting for things like cars, electronics and expensive jewelry, antiques. One word of caution though is to make sure that you are buying items from the rightful or real owner otherwise you might get into trouble, also study the Philippine anti-fencing law. Good luck and happy earning

I'm also looking for a another business. i already have e load and sari sari store but its not earning much bec. stores in our place are like mushrooms, they're everywhere. i have two female grown up german shepherds and just waiting for them to get heat. there are already reservation for pups but still have to wait months. A 5,000 start up capital for a business, you can cook food, 10 to 15 per serving or bake brownies or you can buy things @ tutuban(168 mall?) and post it online. I would try online selling, I'm just waiting the package from my sister. goodluck to you. i know you will succeed bec. you have the heart for it.

Hello Jheiem, You can actually put up a combination of Beverages,Ice Sell and probably Poridge or Goto kind of business. a lot has actually tried it and turned them well after a few months. but make sure you don't have a competitor, or you would be having time getting all customers on your side. you can also offer hot coffee just in case.

With 5k pesos you can start your own poultry farm. You can start with the 45 days old chicken however you will need a lot of tender loving care for this business to push thru. I have been pondering about this poultry farm for a long time now but it seems I have yet to understand the whole business before I put my resources and time on it. Bottom line is that in order for your business to prosper you should consider taking time to learn the businees you want to push thru. Here are the other ideas of mine for business opportunities with that small amount of capital. You can try to have small vegetable garden in which you can sell the produce directly ot market. You can also put up a reloading business this seems to be an overused idea but it will definitely work considering that you already have a sari sari store.
