Could you help me decide on which design?

Hello, personally , i like the first one ,just for the simple reason that i like blue page than the green one. Blue seem make the whole page more fresh,and smart.haha.. if there has the pink one ,i will choose it than the blue . i just choose my favourite one at the fist sight.you can, too,make your own choice.or you can wait any other to give you some suggestion.^o^ wish you luck

Blue is common. The green seems alittle different.

I just started my own post about colors and people who are colored blind. If I remember correctly, the second one was green, I'd not use that one. I remember my late brother-in-law hated that color because he was color blind. So my choice would be the first one, blue..

From a personal choice I prefer the green colour scheme and prefer the log in details being in the header section as they are clear to see, where as they could get lost if kept on the right hand side as per the blue design. I also like the fact the green design is less crowded, how that will work with more content is yet to be seen as it could end up feeling like the content isn't anchored properly, floating around instead. But then the best sites keep things simple and uncluttered.

...Hi, You may have chosen already. But first of all good luck with the site, it looks like a winner. Interesting concept. I do abstract painting and I am into colors. If the water scene is to be your continuous picture on the site then the blue background is soft and subtle, but the green makes your water scene come alive more than the blue. It becomes more vivid while the blue tends to make the scene blend in. So it depends on what you what the focus to be. The green background makes you really want to look at the water scene. The blue makes you look at the water scene and move on quicker to other items on the page. Take care and again good luck.

i like the green one,,, ^^ but, umm, could you make it a bit darker, or a bit metallic?

Design one gets my vote because i like the shade and color of it.. haha =D It gives me a relaxed feel, as if i'm on a beach looking at the blue sky and blue ocean in front of me. haha =D Since your blog is about travels, that color theme is the right one for u.. haha =D Design two is ok, but the color green is too bright for background

I think i like the design one much better compared to the design two. The design one is more user friendly and very appealing to the eye.. hehe

Okay, about the colors, i want the blue one.. but it terms of whole.. i like the green one ... it more balance.. and easy to get it... is this is free? i'm planning to make a website too.. but don't know how to start...

Well, both of them look pretty nice to me. However, if I had to choose between the two of them, I really think that the one that is better of the two is the one with the blue background. The reason that I like that one better than the other is because the blue feels a lot more serene than the green background. i like the blue one coz it is formal looking and so boyish.. however, the green one is so comely, pleasant-looking and artistic.. i think you should choose the green one... blue for lay-outs is so common..

i prefer the blue than the green one.the interface for the blue is much more friendly than the second design.the website is about traveling right?the green color seems isn't right for traveling concept than the blue.perhaps you can put a banner/picture beside the name of the site.the log in ID should be at the side rather than at the top of site. P/S-do inform us when you done with the whole site.

I think the second design is better mainly because most of the sites I've visited have a blue scheme. So to make your website different I think the green one is better. I also like how it's color is pleasing and relaxing to the eye.

I think I'll go with the blue background with the layout of the green.. I like the layout of the green because you have more room for your blogs, pictures and other stuff than the one with blue... Well that is just me.. good luck with your website!

I like the first picture since the blue back ground totally complements the inner picture (the guy on the bench)and look very professional. The green seems out of place, in my own opinion.

I like the first one. The colour makes it look so much more relaxing and fits the picture of the ocean so much better.

i think i like the second pic..i think its the green one.. i like the color and its pleasing to the eyes ..

I like the blue design better. Think it looks nicer and more professional. As for the login section: Being a web designer myself, I always prefer to put it at the top of the page so that it leaves more space for the menu items and the website content. Great work on the layouts though, they are both really good.
