I still have my braces on, yes, I know I'm old enough to be having this on until now. And those who had it, know how uncomfortable it is when it was just readjusted...so, any suggestion as to how to minimize the pain that one has when braces were just readjusted?

Yes, braces can be really painful especially after a re-adjustment. It has been years and years since I have had them and I still remember the pain. Luckily for people who have braces today they have much better over the counter pain killers then when I had my braces. Two of my kids now have braces and they both take 2 Advil (Ibuprofin) right after they get the adjustment so that it kicks in right as the teeth start to move and weather or not they are in pain or not they take 2 the night that they had the adjustment because the teeth will do a lot of moving while you sleep. If you are really in incredible pain you can put some Ambusal on the area of your gums where it hurts the most, this will numb the area for a while be warned though it does not taste that great so try not to lick it, plus if you put your tongue on it, it will numb your tongue.
