Do you go to the doctor often?

Some people go even when they catch a cold, I only go to check ups and when I feel like there's something really wrong. How about you? What's the frequency of your doctor visits?

Hello! I go very rarely to see the doctor. Usually i'm in a great health condition, so i do not need their attention. If it is about i cold, i drink some tea, some pills everybody knows about, and in 3-4 days i'm a new man :D I went to a doctor, 3-4 times now, to see about a certain pain that appears from time to time, like every 6-7 months, but after analises, she said that i needed some rest, so..whenever i feel bad, i relax and take more care of me, and i'm OK :D

Quite reasonable. I think it's better to try alternative medicine first, at least for minor issues.

I wish I didn't have to see the doctors as much but I have a lot of health problems that need to be watched carefully. I see some of my doctors every month and some of them every 4-6 months. I have a heart condition and am anemic. I am currently going to physical therapy twice a week for a foot and ankle injury that won't heal because of my diabetes. I don't go just if I catch a cold unless it is making my heart rate speed up then I have to go. I also have a stomach doctor because I have precancer of the esophagus and have to have endoscopies done every once in awhile. It has to be watched carefully so it does not turn into cancer.

I do have to go and see my doctor regularly as scheduled, because I have to keep the check on my blood pressure. The doctor would give instructions and prescribe medicines as he finds needed to keep the blood pressure under control. At other times, of course, I see the doctor when necessary.

The last time I went to the doctor for myself was in 2005 I think. They had to take my gall bladder out. I think I went to the post operation check up. but i might not have I hate going to the doctor. By the time I go the situation has to be a lot more than I can deal with!

Hi I am one of those who don't like going to the Doctors that is why most of the reason for my check up is during our Annual Physical Exams. Other than that it would take a major sickness or illness to make me visit the doctor. I know when we are having symptoms or if we are not feeling well, we should not hesitate from seeking medical attention or medical assistance. But for me, I try my best to stay healthy that is why (thanks God) I seldom feel bad or feel ill. When I think what I am suffering from is not an ordinary colds or flu or whenever I observed something abnormal in my body I voluntarily set an appointment to the Doctor. This year I have one visit to the doctor and the next would probably be due to our annual physical exam. Have a healthy day and happy mylotting!

I try not to go very often if something is wrong I will try and wait and see if it will go away on it's own. After a reasonable amount of time if I am still hurt or still sick then I will go and see my doctor. Usually once I go to the doctor he gives me some kind of medication that clears everything up right away, I don't know why I don't go sooner it always works out better that way.

I go about once every three years and I save up about two or three things and check them at the same time.
