Jodeci was one of the hottest male R&B groups of its time.. with the sexy, sultry voices of such talented young men. I recently posted this video link from youtube to my Facebook with this song by Jodeci entitled "Love You For Life". It is so beautiful and it made me think whether people of today really truly and honestly believe in love and its power?? True love. Unconditional love. That you can have for someone outside of your family. Intimate love. Do you believe in love && the promise that it gives?? Both to you and to your partner.

I was lucky to have met the man that I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with when I was 21 years old. We've now been together for nearly nine years. The love that we share is something that I never imagined was to be possible in this world. There is nothing that my husband could do that would ruin the love that I have for him. So, I do believe in true and unconditional love and I wish that there were more people in the world that did.

That is beautiful!! I'm sure that he feels so lucky and blessed to have you as his wife and you should feel equally the same to have him as your husband. I hope that my marriage one day becomes this way... I can say that it used to be this way before we got married... but that was so long ago... that it's borderline nonexistent. I just pray to God to save what once was and what is now... I am just hoping that I can last....

Even in this sort of world where love might not be as true any more, I still do believe in it. There was a mythology story about Cupid and Psyche and Cupid's line is still in my head: Love cannot live where there is no trust.
But I guess with how love becomes overrated with how people keep saying words of love but still end up hurting each other, makes me a bit skeptical. And I guess people have become a bit cautious and practical in this world, that even though there are some who would lay out their life for the one they love, others are reserved and would need a few reassuring words and actions.
Well, I am hoping to find or be found by that someone who'd truly love me back. But I guess I'd categorize myself to that cautious type.

You made a great point. A lot of people can't distinguish the difference between love and lust and that's dangerous for some people. Everyone isn't in love... there are lots of people out there just like you that are hoping for the right one to come along. It's all about patience.. waiting on God... and knowing exactly what you want.
