I do vow to save money

By saving money, I have to start from my daily average expenses, and I have to cut back on those unnecessary expenses from my bills and wallet. For instance, I just cancel my cell phone data plan, which I don't use that much. Although the operator wants to keep me on the plan, I simply say "no". I also cut back on my regular visit to the starbucks on a weekly basis. My eating out habits with friends, I also keep it down. Also, I just won't want to go out that often, since I have to spend money every time I am going out. I have to save more, and get rid of my debt. The recent goal of mine. What would you do to cut back your unnecessary expenses?

We are packing coffee/hot drinks in a to go mug so that we aren't tempted to stop at Starbucks or another coffee shop. I am inviting friends over instead of going out to eat - we have a sort of a potluck. It costs less, although it still costs something because we still eat. We're trying to do extra things like cut back on our grocery bill by making thigns from scratch as well.

Well, the best thing to do is to start by tracking all your expenses, no matter how small they might be, because they all add up. So I would write down every penny I spend for a few months, and then take a look at what I have been spending on, in order to see what I can cut back on.
This is what most financial advisors also recommend I think!
