I was browsing the "free" section at FortuneNow.com, and I came across a mini course, for something called the 1 minute presentation...clicked something in my memory, of course I have signed up for this a long time ago, and well...took the course of course. but had let the skill atrophy from dis use. Went in for a refresher, and omgosh...Powerful stuff. I think I will buy the training. Basically, after we have mentioned our product/service/bizop, I would imagine because they asked us too, we say "I can give you a complete presentation, but it would take an entire minute, When do you think you could put aside a whole minute?" For understandable reasons, this opens them up a little, and they generally say, "How about now?" Great, now, How do we as Networkers fit our whole presentation into one minute? Simple, we either Talk really really fast, or get rid of the filler...lets work the getting rid of the filler. So we really narrow it down, to the decision making quality information, and if they want to join we can tell them all about the wonderful whozits that train us, during they're training. And if they aren't going to join us, they really just don't need to know. What your prospects really want to know...for your prospect to make an informed decision, Yes or No, or I have some questions...we must answer 3 basic questions. 1-What business are you in? Would you join a business if you didn't know what it was? Neither would I, and I should be clear here, let us tell them generally, and then tell them what that means. For example, I am in the Coaching and Mentoring business, which means I help people to improve their network marketing skills. 2-How much $$$ can I make? and just pick a figure that the prospect would like to hear, which you can find out easily by applying your colors training. Match the Cash too the prospect. Use your common sense. and if all else fails, ask what they want to make. For example, You could feel good about helping a lot of people achieve financial freedom, and making it in MLM. 3-What exactly do I have do to earn this cash? This one is oftenly skipped or glazed over, making it more difficult for our prospect to make a yes or now decision. Be specific, without going into to detail here. Tell them, one of the daily business building activities they would need to do develop some income, and give the approximate cash value there. For example, All you have to do, is build relationships, and point people to where they can find the answers to their questions, to get this great feeling. Great...I am in the coaching and mentoring business, which means I help people to improve their network marketing skills, You could feel really good about helping a lot of people achieve financial freedom and making it in MLM. All you would have to do is build relationships and point people to where they can find the answers to their questions. Super, now, How do we close...with a nice simple...Adeeb adeeb adeeb...A That's all folks. Or, Well, what do you think? or And thats it, or and the rest is up to you. So, What do you think of this, and how can it help you in building your MLM business? Sincerely and With Appreciation.

Well, I'm not exactly involved in an MLM, but I am involved in direct sales, and yes, one of the keys to success is to also recruit other people into the business. I love how you've laid out everything that you need to say in order to be able to plug your business. I'm bookmarking this discussion because of the fact that there is a lot of information here that I need to have so that I can make my business stronger. The reason for this is because of the fact that I want to build my business but I've been struggling to do it.

I think this would be helpful to my husband. He has a wonderful product, and can get his plug in pretty often. He even has been set up as a trainer by the company, but no one showed up to get trained.

Wow...no one showed up to get trained, that is the worst. All training is self improvement, and self Empowerment. To make more you must become more, I really wish more people understood that, and for that matter I wish I understood it better myself, like 10-15 years ago. What does your husband do? and What do you think of them cookies? Sincerely and With Appreciation.
