What is the weirdest thing you learned in college?

So far in my experiences at the University of Arizona, I have learned lots of things outside of the classroom. I guess they're part of getting the "Well-rounded education". For one, don't park your bicycle on campus, or outside at all! I've walked by many a bike rack and found tires or frames chained to them, sort of like a bicycle graveyard. The other key thing is to only spend your student loan money on things you actually need (food/rent/etc.). I know too many people who spent their "free cash" on a Vegas Trip or a television. I am curious as to what other life lessons others learned from their college experience?

Well Actually there were a lot of things which sounded weird to me in those college days, But one of the things I found weird was we were made to sit in onother college for lectures for a whole month inspite of we being from professional courses and paying 4 times the fees normal degree students pay :P. We were promised A/C classrooms as per the prospectus :D, but forget A/C we dint even have proper fans working in the classroom during lectures sometimes :d. So there were a lot of weird things like this we experience during college life. Everyone learns a lot through out college life as it is the best period one can have in life.

Haha, I've only managed to survive one year of college at the University of Minnesota (SO FAR - had to take some time off to figure out how the hell to pay for the next 3 years I need to get my BA), but I learned a few things: a.) if you want to be original, DON'T wear Uggs and sweat pants to school, b.) I learned that I should avoid certain fraternities in the area (from word-of-mouth assaults, diseases, etc) and I can't really think of anything else funny that I "learned" right now. But I did learn that I hate it. lol, mainly because of how expensive they are (and they're a public school). UGH. Welcome to MyLot by the way.. Good luck with continuing your post HS education!
