hi friends.actually this is not a breaking news.it happened 2 days back.the BCCi apparently had a meeting to talk about some irregularities with the royals and kings XI and at the end of the meeting ,they removed both the teams citing reasons like "transgression of shareholding and ownership norms that threatened to "shake the very foundation of the tender process"". i have no idea what that means. there is also another team, the kochi team but BCCI has just warned the franchise and asked them to sort things out. i still dont get what all that means but to put it quite simply,no royals or kings XI will take part in the auctions next month and you probably wont see those teams in next IPL. that is if IPL 4 happens.report is that if any of those 2 teams manages to get a stay order on IPL,there is a very little chance of IPL next year. its that simple.

Hi stardustcdsd, It appears most likely that we may not see IPL4 this year. There was wide spread criticism from around the cricketing world, of course from the quarters other than the players and supporting staff who are the maximum beneficiaries of IPL, more from jealousy than anything else. Now that there is a trouble within our system, it is more than likely that we may not see IPL again. We should see the comments from Vijay Malha, one of the franchisee owners of the IPL which bears utmost importance in this case. I quote " I wonder if IPL franchisees are serious stake holders whose investments and the participation are respected or are they slaves who only come and play". From these comments it is clear that the other franchisee owners are not going to take this decision lying low. Let us wait and see the further developments.

its actually a pretty stupid decision from BCCI.pretty much everybody knows that Modi is financially linked to both the teams.they took out Modi and the 2 teams and say its nothing to do with Modi.funny isn't it? if it is so,why no action against Chennai superkings where there is this issue of CONFLICTS OF INTEREST ?may be because of Srini who is a member of BCCI? why just warning to Kochi franchise? double standards?

I am pretty sure that this is not the end of the story. The team owners now will come together and might as well take BCCI on. I think it is high time that some of the blokes in BCCI make way for some professionals to handle stuff. This time around they are dealing with corporates and not individuals or players who do not have much of clout and say. Let's watch this space for more action. Cheers! Ram

Yes I have also heard this news and I am shocked after hearing this news that both teams are out of the IPL-4 due to some scams. Because both teams are very good decision. I don’t know the whole story behind this but I think there are some problems between them. So now they are out of the IPL-4.
