What is up with flu?

Did you experience having cold or flue because of the heat? The weather here now have gone crazy, last week it was super as in so hot, and due to that excessive heat, I got a case of cold or flu. I am not really sure how that happened. And now, the weather is so cold, and there is even a storm coming. It agitated my condition more, I even got more sick.
