Clothes Dryer. Anyone tried this type before?

Please refer to the attached photo. Anyone ever tried this before? Does it works as good as the conventional (bulky) type? Like the design because its easier to move around if I have to. And it caters large capacity. Maybe not as durable as the conventional type (washer alike design)

hi liewss, i think it would really depend of the place where you are. if in the philippines, you will love the conventional way of drying clothes.. out in the open with clothes lines and bamboo or plastic clips to make the clothes stay in place. dryer like those i guess are good only when it is raining outside. have a great day. ann

When I was vacationing in Sweden, the apartment building that I was staying in only had this stand-up dryer. It honestly worked, although it seemed to take much longer. However we were also dealing with hard water there, so our clothes turned out all crunchy and horrible. lol. Of course I'm sure it depends on the machinery, the kind I used was a bit old and probably outdated compared to the one you have pictured. I think it's a good concept though - a lot of gentle and delicate items aren't supposed to be tumble-dried, and so this would prevent ruining your clothes.
