why do people love to smoke??

Hi Cyrii, It is hard to quit because it is physically addictive. They say it is one of the most powerful addictions ranking right up there with heroin. As a smoker myself, I can tell you that it is extremely difficult to quit. I have tried to quit so so many times. I succeed for a while and then for some reason end up going back to it. It's not impossible though. With a lot of will power and if the person really wants to, they can succeed in quitting. I haven't been one of them.....yet.

People love smoking? depends on age. For adolescent, it makes them so proud that they can do adult thing at their age, especially when others see them inhaling and exhaling smoke. They find themselves popular if they do it. So i would say they love how they look and not actually the smoke. In adult, i think they love smoking because its part of their everyday habit. Nicotine is part of their lives and get used to it. It feels good and makes your mood relax but the side effect of this, its not visible in the present, but gnash your future!

smoking can be addicting because of the toxic chemical nicotine. it can be an abused substance which can destroy proper brain functions. Smokers are hooked with their hobby because they only think that they cannot survive without taking the substance. But my father stopped smoking because his own will and he think of the negative effects to his children. For me Smoking is A BIG NO-NO

I think maybe they all do not aim to smoke at first, they only follow others and want to try something new. It's dangerous and we need care about how to decrease the number of smoking people.

love to smoke??!maybe they don't love to smoke...some guys up there that I know smoking does not love to smoke..they just wants to be recognize..

well.. for me... before (even now) i do smoke to relieve myself from stress or whenever i'm in a bad mood. until eventually, since i'm working in a call center, it has been a habit for us to smoke during free time since that's the only time we get to talk about none work related stuff (sometimes) and bond with my trainees and co-trainers... and whoever :)

I never saw what people enjoyed about smoking. i never saw the fascination with it. Why would anyone want their lungs tarnished with this addiction is beyond me. I'm sure smoking is a habit that is hard to break.
