Do you take note of your ideas or goals?

This is a question I saw on a book some time ago, in which it's said that write down your ideas as you have them as a positive effect and also your goals, to keep them handy to help remember them and to where are you going. I'm not used to follow this, but I must admit that I know it's a good idea. So I began with it, trying to write down those ideas that I want to remember, and also helped me to create well defined goals, for example, how much I want to earn this month online? Ok, I'll have to be realistic in addition to write, but it's a good point to start, and to know how good, or bad, I'm going with it. And another one I've started. When I have a good idea that I think I may post here, I go to my cellphone and make a note. And when I have some time, I come here, check my list and post. Those are my subject that one time I thinked it would be great to post on MyLot, but my memory if most fragile than my cell memory :D What do you think? Have you ever do the same? Happy MyLotting to all!!

I sometimes note down ideas which may help my work. Although I do all my work on the computer, I prefer to write down my ideas and outlines on a piece of paper (not a notebook!) and let it lie on the desk. Every now and then I will go back to check the piece of paper, tick what I have done or what has been used. When I have more new ideas, I write them down on another piece of paper, together with those old ones, which haven't been fulfilled. So one after another, it feels like my work is renewed constantly, and I am never lack of inspiration. I think it has become a ritual of my work. It is clear and I can throw used things away and move on all the time.

Hello Ramres. Yeah, it is good to jot down all the ideas in our mind so that we will not be able to forgot it instead you can edit it if you want to wrote more positive ideas. When I was young, I try to jot down all the positive ideas that might help me in the near future even if I am lying on the bed. I need to stand up and write down all.It is a good way.

I take note of them although right now, it's not really working out. I know it will in the future. I know i just have to keep pushing forward no matter what happens. Also, ideas would keep me on track so thanks for the thought. I'll include this to my 'to do' list.

I have a notebook where I write down my goals. I write down realistic goals as well as "crazy" ideas. I created my first goalbook about 8 years ago, and when I read that book I can see that I have changed in many ways and that some of my goals have changed. I write down the places around the world that I want to visit, my goals about work and education, things I want to learn, financial goals etc. I don't achieve all of my goals, but that is okay, and I use the book as inspiration when I am looking new things to do or learn. I have another notebook where I write down ideas related to writing for instanse some keywords about stories that I want to write or poems that I didn't finish yet. If I get an ideas for a discussion I also write it down sometimes, otherwise I might forget it.

No I never write down my ideas and goals anywhere. Because that are only in my mind. But when I really need to planned anyone idea then I discuss with it my friends and family members. So I think that is the best way for me to discuss the ideas with friends.
