SideTick Down??

I tried it.. says only for me. I was able to get back in after I posted this...but is down again. This time I get only a blank page with nothing on it. I sent a ping and they all came back successful...so what the heck? I read on a different post hackers knocked down another site today...I wonder...

Actually, I'm not confident about the site I posted. I think that it really just wants to sell you free hosting! If you get a "404" error, then there are generally problems with the site itself, though it can be because your ISPs DNS server can't locate the IP address of the site. Sometimes clearing your browser's cache and history can solve the problem. Another solution might be to subscribe to a different DNS service (the one I use is OpenDNS). If you don't know what DNS is, it is the service which looks up the URL you see in your Address bar and translates it into an IP address, which is how a computer REALLY finds a server. The actual IP address of sidetick.com is 66.115.174.236. These two links should do exactly the same thing: http://www.sidetick.com/ http://66.115.174.236/

... and I notice that they DON'T! I got the IP information from here, incidentally: http://cqcounter.com/whois/ This suggests that Sidetick are doing some redirection of some kind from that IP address.
