What would make my post dumb?

What would I have to post in order for people to think it dumb, or make people think why in the world did they post that? I like to post questions to know people's interests but does that ever get tiring on you guys. Who do you like, what do you think of, etc.? I really want to know your thoughts.

Questions that begin Who do you like, what do you think of, etc. are generally classed as "poll type". See the Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx

People who don't read the rules of a site and the FAQs are generally dumb.
