It was on the news, credit cards company charging payments from a client whose cards was stolen and used by other people. This is only one of the many sad stories about one's experience with the credit cards company. How about you, are you one of the many victims of these credit cards companies?

This case is really sensitive but we can prevent it easily. Once your card was stolen or lost report it immediately to the credit card company so they will cut the previous one and give you a new one. I made it last month because there was a insurance company that keep on taking money from my credit card as I want them to stop, I called the credit card company and report to them that it was stolen. So they charge me only 250php so instead of paying a lot of scammer, I report that it was stolen so they cannot take more money from me.

No I am not and never will be. I know how to protect my privacy and the safety precautions to avoid that. Once your credit card was lost, you should report it to your bank right away so they will decline it. If there's a transaction on my bill that I did not authorize, I will also file a complaint that I didn't purchase such a thing. It's not hard, you should just know the measures and of course, you must cooperate.

I believe that credit cards can be good or bad for a person depending on the discipline of the person using them. There are people who testifies how credit cards helped them get leverage for their business. There are also a lot more who tells of stories about how they got deep in debt because of credit cards. I am not pro or against credit cards, its just an instrument that people use to manage their money

I thought credit card companies cannot charge the customer the stolen money from the credit card once it was stolen. I personally have never been a direct victim but had to help someone who was and the credit card company sent paperwork to be completed and notarized attesting it was part of a theft. It took a couple months but then the charges were removed as the credit card companies have fraud protection insurance. Has this changed??

Glad to say I was never a victim and never will be coz I have stopped using a credit card. I don't think it's helpful at all if you don't know how to manage your finances. Regarding those people whose credit cards were stolen and used, I've heard about it. It was sad that the owners were made to pay for the bills despite the fact that it was reported stolen already. Credit card company sucks!
