For those people who love anime, have you ever think of going to Japan just to visit the anime company? Or have you ever been to anime company? When I was a kid, my only dream is to go to united states of America to see Walt Disney company, but days had passed, I am now more interested in Japan anime. If you are already been in one of the anime company, what did you do there? I am still dreaming to go to Japan and wants to see the anime company, but I do not have any money... I am also wants to see the monument of the founder of Japan anime.

i have never been in japan but my wife worked there already. i was the one telling her to go there and buy me some slumdunk comick book. she did but was not that excited going there for she is not an anime fan. it is not easy for me to go to japan for you need a sponsor or you need to be a business man, and i am not any of that two. har har har. of course i would love to visit anime world in the future.

slam dunk - comic books
Hello Seven, Why? don't you want to just watch it from the youtube most specially the movies? I have been keeping eye on slam dunk since college. i was able to watch all the movies, and the last episode of slam dunk. where they are set for the inter high championships. unfortunately i didn't like the result in the comic book. Because the didn't win the inter high and i think they were rank 3rd of 4th in the finals. that's where the scenario i think where sakuragi and Rukawa was working together. in the end, they never made it to the championship, nor they became champion..but for them it was a great game.

Hi, LetranKnight25, I also have watched "Slamdunk" on television, but I didn't finish it as a whole. I am more interested watching "Get Backers"--- I remember that it was a "Get Backers" on channel 2 and a "Slamdunk" on channel 7. "Slamdunk" appears many times on channel 7 because it was always got a "high rating" show every afternoon. You know what I mean. Ha ha ha. Channel 2 and channel 7 are always competing each other when it comes to "anime" noon time show.

We have Tokyo Pop and Funimation here in the U.S.A. I would love to go to Japan and see what kind of anime companies they have over there. I think that Sony and Nintendo have Anime companies over there.

I met with the people from Tokyo Pop. They told me about how I can get an internship at their company. They are really cool people.

How I wish I could see Tokyo Pop and Funimation too in the U.S.A. I have also seen lots of people in USA wearing "cosplay" on internet. He he he... I remember one day that I found one american guy wearing cosplay as "Kenshin Himura" and I would say he looks like really "Kenshin Himura" in Samurai X... wa he he (^_^)

There are plenty of Japanese anime studios, Studio Pierrot, Ghibli, Funimation, just to name a few. It's really an interesting niche to work in, though many of the employees work 12-14 hours daily to deliver the quality anime we are all used to.

I have dreamed of going to Japan for many years now and one day I hope to make it a reality. I also haven't thought about visiting any anime studio, it's actually never even popped into my mind before. I was more interested in places like Akihabara and Shibuya. But now that you've mentioned it I wouldn't mind going to the Sunrise studio (famous for the Gundam series) as well as Studio Ghibli. Thinking about Sunrise would make me want to check out the Gundam museum they have in Japan. I think that would be an interesting place to go to.

Toei animation - that makes anime cartoonshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFqhFXdeR8w
Hello introvert shy, I don't know, never really given much of a thought in that. although you have to be a anime fanatic and artistic at the same time to have the will to visit those places. when i was just addictive to youtube during it's era, i have a friend there that is anime fanatic and likes anime so much that he participated in a lot of cosplays. He even accepted offer to work for toy making in South Korea but i guess some how he didn't pursue it. Anime has really given a whole new meaning compare to just plain cartoons US made.
