as little girls we grow up dreaming of having the perfect fairytale.we imagine the man that we'll someday marry, how we'll meet, how we'll kiss, and how he'll propose. we have the complete love story planned out in our imaginations./ and as we grow up we realise how wrong we were, and we end up disappointed so did this happen to you?

Men do tend to disappoint but maybe our standards are too high, after all everyone's human and we all have our faults. To be honest I never dreamed about having the perfect husband or wedding or whatever as a little girl anyway, I just wanted to grow up to be a writer and have independence.

Hi swissheart No nothing like that happened to me. I believe in fate and destiny. As human being, we have high expectations always, but all expections never come true, many remain unfullfilled.. I believe we are facing our karma each moment, if we had done good, we are getting more good, if we did bad, we are getting more bad.. It is the law of destiny, reality is always different from dreams..even if it is one neednot feel disappointed.. Thank you so much for sharing. Professor. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead. God bless you. Welcome always.

blame on the TV shows and movies that we saw when we were younger and also it can be attributed to the fairy tales that we have read too. as we grow older, slowly we should know how to get in touch with reality. Sometimes reality can be harsh so little girls should be taught that not all endings are happy endings.

Not the same no. I always grew up wanting to play football and this was a huge part of my life, as a young kid I played everyday and I always put a lot of effort in practicing aswell as making the school team. As I become a teenager I almost completed my dream when local sides we're interested in taking me on as a youth, sadly I injured my knee's and one can become prone to twisting very easily. It's nice as kids when we have these dreams, I often look back at my childhood and wished I could re-live moments.

yes, i used to believed in fairy tales. That my prince in shining armor will come to rescue me. I always believed in the ending of "and they lived happily ever after" And like the "EVER AFTER" movie,i wish my love someday to come true. But reality is far beyond imagination. Now i just laughed at those thoughts, and face the fact and realities of life. have a great weekend
