Nuclear power

The threat of nuclear weapons maintains world peace. Nuclear power provides cheap and clean energy. The benefits of nuclear technology far overweigh the disadvantages. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer.

Greater capabilities bring greater responsibilities. The Earth's nuclear capabilities is primative to what can be accomplished. This could easily put those poor oil companies out of business and supply unlimited clean energy. Of course the dangers increase as well, but I think the world is getting better and better at security everyday. Now if we can do it all without stepping on all our freedoms then we will be ready.

Although the nuclear can create power, but somewhat it is dangerous. I prefer to take advantage of the wind and solar to create power. They are clean and safe. I don't want to see the nuclear weapon any more because it is very horrible for the human beings to suffer the nuclear bomb. Try to imagine what happened to Japan during the World War II. The people are innocent. I love China

Well nuclear does provide clean and lots of energy but has a lot of dangers.Well the answer has to come from better modifications in technology so as to generate minimal wastes or we have to find new sources

Production of Nuclear energy results in a huge accumulation of "toxic waste",the disposal of which has been a big headache even for the USA with all its vaunted technological superiority. Many nations are using crude methods for "Nuclear waste disposal".A Nuclear accident like Chernobyl will leave th place inhospitable for centuries.Even a normal Nuclear plant emits dangerous radiation.Hence I am strongly against the use of Nuclear Energy and weapons.

Agree! As long as used properly and responsibly why not? In addition to saving resources that had long been in use why do not we use other alternatives to subsidize the resources used up for this?

I disagree. Deterrence isn't the answer to everything. We are humans and we're capable of understanding care and love for one another. It's the beliefs that should be set aside. Those are the ones that causes all the pain and killings happening around us.
