Rooney signs new 5-year contract with MU

Hooray, after weeks of uncertainty, Rooney finally signed a new contract with MU. I hope this will make the team better focused for the rest of the season. But it will be tough for his teammates to get going again with him after what he has said recently so it may take some time for them to get going, i hope. Go Manchester!

Yes, the never ending saga finally ended. I think Sir Alex played his cards perfectly well. Just when Rooney and his agents tried to use the excuse of not enough transfer spending to engineer a move away, he completely discredited this whole theory. His two press conferences really put Rooney on the spot and highlighted his agent as the villain. Anyhow now that Rooney has finally signed the 5 year contract, Man U and Sir Alex can sit easy.
Now they have both options of playing him or selling him at a proper cost to any of the other clubs if he is not inclined to play for Man U.
