Book That Provokes Anger

I once have an experience with a book. I don't tell you the title, but the point is that the author of this book really makes me crazy. He simply wants to provide the readers with the wrong data. He really wants to ignite people anger, by saying that this fellow is thug, while this fellow is great. I know maybe he is right, but I don't think such a harsh writing can give a peace nor enlighten the readers. Do you have the same experience as me? Tell me here.

I typically stay away from books that I know are going to make me mad. The last time I read a book that really made me mad was probably awhile ago. Usually I don't like reading books that bash people's beliefs or portray a faith (even if it's not mine) in an evil light. Whenever I read books like that then they just leave me feeling bitter. I tend to stick to high fantasy novels, and I avoid political non-fiction because I know that a lot of those books are going to make me mad. I don't like to dwell on emotions like anger or hate. I prefer books that make me feel uplifted.

Yes, such books gives nothing but dizziness. But if I didn't read that, I will be haunted by questions. Is that right what people say about that book? Something like that. So I want to clarify what people say by reading it by myself. Then after I found some things that have been controversial there, I will discuss with them. After discussion, I always feel better.

I've never been one who really liked debate. Discussion is fun enough but only when most everyone agrees and the disagreements are pretty minor or at least nobody really gets worked up over it. But heated debate? No, can't do it. Part of the reason I avoid a lot of controversial topics. I don't like getting wrapped up in a bad debate. But I understand what you mean about wanting to know what something's all about. I might give in and read a certain book that I've heard horrible things about just to see what the big deal is about the controversy. I have a feeling that I won't enjoy it though.

I actually love reading about controversial things. It doesn't get me angry, maybe a bit "riled up" at most. I also like to read things from the opposite perspective I have; you can be surprised what you can learn. Of course, if it upsets you to read such things, it is a wise idea to stay away from them. Life has enough stress without adding more, right?
