How frequently you watch a movie and do you see them in theaters?

I love watching movies specially block busters. When there is a block buster showing in the theaters i watch them in theaters. I also do movie marathons at home for those uncommon films.

I watch movies twice a week and I usually watch movies by downloading.I have an hardware where I put all of them to avoid to completely fill my Pc memory.It is more confortable.I use to connect the hardware to my TV because the sound and the video are better.I like to watch action movies,commedy and adventure movies.

I love watching movies and I love going to the movies but I don't go to the theater very often these days. Actually, it will soon be a year since I went to a theater. I do, however, watch tons of movies on TV. I get all the premium channels - HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, TMC, Starz and Encore - and there's about 8-10 or more of each of them and I have a DVR so I have a huge selection. If it's something I'm absolutely dying to see I'll either rent the DVD or PPV, but I don't do that very often. This weekend I watched about eight movies! I like most all kinds of movies. I enjoy a good mystery and suspense film and political or psychological thrillers. I'm a real sucker for love stories, both romantic comedies and tear-jerkers as well as everything in between. I love the old classics. Yesterday I watched the original "Planet of the Apes", which is much better than the remake in my opinion, and "Splendor in the Grass". I like a good horror movie but I'm not crazy about the ones that are violent just for the sake of violence. I love disaster movies if they're well made and don't seem TOO far-fetched and fake. Annie

I used to watch a lot of movies but I haven't in a while, nothing good has been released so I'll generally watch older movies that all the movies of today borrow from. I like movies in the theater but it gets too expensive and if the movie is terrible then its a big waste of money. I've watched a few movies on my laptop but watching them on my tv is much better. I like to watch comedy and action most of all.

When I was in college I regularly watch movies. But now have an internet. I never go to theater to watch movies. The things also is that movies ticket is very expensive not like before that ticket is very cheap

where do you watch your movies from? I mean, what sites do you get them from?

I watch a film a day or so. I have many movie channels on Cable and I have many films on VHS and some on DVD. I rarely go to the theater these days. Most of the films coming out are so-called romantic comedies which I loathe and " for the whole family" films! Or horror films. I don't watch any of these! So it is rare to find a good action film comes out. And most of the time it disappears from the theaters before I get to see it! Speaking of action films and Hindi films, did you see Ghajini? This is my favorite Bollywood film ever!

I haven't watched a movie in a theatre in many years now. I prefer to get the DVD and watch it at home. I feel more comfortable doing it this way, it's cheaper and I don't have to go out and drive the car... _Derek

For me drama movie not violence it is not good and it might you copied there attitude.

I try not to go to the theaters to watch movies that much. We have Netflix so I get to see just about any movie I may want.

I watch 2-3 movies in a month. I go to theatres only if the movie is a blockbuster and that also my friends take me :). I like all sort of movies be it drama, action, comedy, horror, science fiction. Last movie I watched was Peepli Live and hats off to Aamir Khan. Awesome movie.

i tend to watch films everyday, i love watching them and this is mainly at home on the tv. I do however rent films every week and i also call to the cinema atleast twice a month and love to have this but it does get expensive, you just can't beat the big screen.

I love watching movies, if I have so much time then I would watch 3 to 5 movies in a day. But if I'm busy I would prefer to prioritize my tasks, which is more important than to watch movie which only add my leisure time. Like you I don't like horror movies and Killing movies like Hostel, Chainsaw massacre, wrong turn, I really hate movies like that, I can watch them because my friends want to watch that kind of movies, while they are watching too seriously what I did is eat all the food chips. and something else. Anyway the movies I really love to watch too, is a movie that makes sense and have sense of humor, like fifty first dates, naked weapon, Benjamin button, twilight, harry potter, the notebook and many to mention.

Ya. I like to watch movie too. Usually, I watch movie every weekend with another 2 friends. We like to watch movie in theater, because of the sound effect is good and we can have a great and actual feeling of that movie. After movie, we usually go to have a drink at food court, sometimes, we go to have buffet too. However, watching movie in theater is really costly. So, I think I have to discuss with my 2 friends about watching movie every 2 week. That is enough already.

i will watch movies as soon as it come out online but recently sites are being shut down, the good ones atleast and i really find it annoying to watch on other sites because of bad quality. So i am thinking now to go and buy some on the street side. I will go to theatre however when an exceptionally good show comes out and i want to see it in good quality and have a great laugh with my friends.

i seldom watch movies but the last time i watched one in the theater was last month. i usually borrow the pirated cds my brothers bought.

Hi Xorticanz! I also love watching movies. Ones or twice a month if there's a good movie showing I watch it in the theater. Most of the times I just watch a movie from our cable. Right now, I'm waiting for Paranormal 2 to be shown in the theater cause I've seen Paranormal 1 and it's really spooky, lol. I think watching movies are great entertainment.

i love watching movies a well. but i usually go to a theater if i want to see a really good movie. if its a cheesy movie then i'll screen that particular movie online, for free. but, i'll go to the movies at least 2-3 times a month. it all depends on the blockbuster. aka the type of movies. if its a good movie coming out every weekend, i'll go every weekend. this use to be a habit of mines, with a few friends on mines. going to see a movie every week. only if its worth it. but now, that blockbusters are not coming out back to back like in the summer time. my movie going habits has slowed down to 2-3 time a month. if that.

me and my bf watch movies in theaters because it is our bonding time but we only watch movies if the film is really great so there is no specific number of times on how frequent we watch movies.
