Status Mount Merapi

Status of Mount Merapi,the more alarming. Places to evacuate was prepared. Monday afternoon, residents will be evacuated. My house is close to places of refuge. Location of Mount Merapi, 20 km from where I live. Hopefully, the eruption did not cause many casualties.

I saw that it had erupted and killed 29 people. I hope that you and your family are safe.

Wow...I pray for everyone’s safety..I cannot imagine living close to an erupting volcano. The only thing one can do is get as far away as possible I suppose. It reminds me of the terrible bushfires we had here early last year when all folks could do was stay or go and so many were killed. I hope nobody will be hurt and that all will be evacuated and safe in plenty of time. My prayers are with you all...

Thank you. I really hope there are no casualties. I really hope that residents would be evacuated. Today, citizens are very difficult for the evacuation. They do not want to leave their homes.

hi indahfth In other words Mou nt Medrapi is apt to blow any time and I hope all the people in its path are going to be evacuated safely.Yes it sounds most alarming. I hope where you are is not too near where this about to erupt volcano is.Take carek as flowing lava is sure no joke at all.

Yes, we have the same hope, but I have feeling just when I heard the Merapi roars, she'll not blast in massive explosive, I don't know about this, but this is my hunch, not a prophecy.

merapi status was alarming and in that situation we have to learn on mbah maridjan, how he was so calm facing merapi situation because he believed merapi so friendly to people who live surrounding and will give natural sign before the situasion become worst

Hopefully mbahwaridjan says is true, that trim friends with residents. But despite the friendly, still must be vigilant, because safety should be paramount.

Really, mam? I don't know about that. Seems that the Old Mardijan should take any action, lol. It is good to give an alarm earlier. We don't want to have the more victims just because of tardiness. Like what happens in Situ Gintung. That's not disaster I think, that's stupidity. The alarm has been given, but they ignore them. May God bless Indonesia!

Mbah Marijan already handed over entirely to the government. Hopefully residents easy for the evacuation.

I hope you're all safe. The worst natural calamity for me is volcano eruptions. There's just nowhere else to go when it happens. It's really amazing that something that is considered as a source of life could also bring much destruction.

we expect only the same god I hope not erupting Merapi volcano,suppose another god willed mountain erupted trim so hopefully there were no casualties
