Did I get infected with virus from mylot?

This afternoon while I was posting in mylot here, all of sudden, a small window pop up and it is from mylot server it claims. It asked me to confirm the user name and password. I just don't know what that is, and I simply click the "x" to remove it from the screen. It did happen twice while I was posting in mylot. I just wonder if the server of mylot really ask you to confirm your identity while you were posting here today? Otherwise, this is really fishy to me, and I afraid that someone trying to hack into my account, or I might be infected with virus.

no as i read a mylot alert some days ago this happen just because a sponser will ask you this dates and not to hijack your pc or install viruses..in any cases i skipped this window me too and continue my activity on mylot!!

i think it is not a virus but an error form generated from mylot server i think..so i scanned for viruses recently and nothing was founded so i guess it is not a virus..

wow..i guess i'm not alone. It happened to me too few minutes ago. It popped twice and i just cancelled it since i felt it was kinda' weird for a pop-up box to ask for personal information.

It did happen to me just awhile ago. At first, i logged in on that pop-up window, then it appeared again twice and I cancelled it. I don't have an idea what's that all about since I'm new here. I didn't really think about being infected with a virus or being hacked by somebody, but now that I've read your post it started to bother me. There are some websites though that needs confirmation again when surfing their site, I just don't know the case here. Well, I hope somebody will comment and have a good explanation about this thing especially those who have been members here for a long time already. =)
