ranking rate

I see my ranking rate within the star mark above my profile changing every day. The day before yesterday, it was 6, yesterday it was 5 and today it is 4. How this happens?

* Your number goes up or down depending on how your discussion/responses are rated by the myLot community."
The solution is obvious. Make your responses and discussions better quality so that more people will rate them well.
1) Read the Guidelines so that you avoid starting or responding to discussions which will inevitably be deleted.
