How do you see the India Newzealand series going? Currently India are on a real high after beating Aussies 2-0 at home. On the other hand the Kiwis are reeling from a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Bangladesh in the ODI series. So how do you think this series will pan? Will India be able to do another whitewash? Cheers! Ram

Taking consideration of the last series of both the teams, India are hot favorites to win the series. After winning against Australia, India are looking to clean sweep Kiwis. In my opinion this series will be dominated by India and I am hoping they can make another whitewash. India has put there strongest side in Test matches and it will be there to see how NZ competes.

Hi Ram, I think currently the INDIAN team is the favorite for the series. It will be an easy one for the Indian team. All the senior players are present for the series. So there won't be any problem with the batting.Bowling is also boosted by Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh.Young players are there for the best fielding. The New Zealand team will be working hard to win their series.I think the Indian team should not consider Kiwis very lightly. It will be an exciting and also interesting to watch when SACHIN TENDULKAR the master blaster will be looking for his 50th century.

I hope youngsters like Pujara and Ashwin get a chance in this series. I would love for these youngsters to come good and strengthen our bench. Cheers! Ram

If India does manage to win the first two matches, then I would expect these two to get their chances in the third match. Let's wait and watch. Cheers! Ram

Hi, It will be tough for PUJARA and ASHWIN as the team is full of seniors. All the players are fit for playing .So they won't get enough of chances for playing for the Indian team. They would be probably sitting outside of the bench and watching the game.Only if any senior player get injures then they will get a chance to play. Both of them are talented players.Hope they use their chances preciously.

Well, I see people already talking about a series white-wash, but I don't think it's that easy. Not that the present New Zealand is tough but, given the fact that its monsoon season in India, the biggest threat for this series is RAIN! It might pour heavily in this time of the year and the matches could wash away due to rain ending in draw. I personally hope it doesn't rain and India go on to extend their lead even more before going to South Africa where, even if they loose badly, they will still remain at top

Yes, but is monsoon season only in the South of India. The north of India is already into it's winter season, so that should not be a major issue at northern venues. Cheers! Ram

well we cant consider NZ as a poor team, they have faced a serious failure but i belive that their allrounders can bounce back. and we should play this series seriously

I think Vettori will probably do well, but not sure on their fast bowling department. Cheers! Ram

Will India be able to do another whitewash? Well mate the answer lies in the statement of NZ coach Greatbatch that two draws against India would be a great result for them. They are not hoping to beat team India but to save themselves from a whitewash by playing draws.I am not at all surprised at this statement of NZ coach as India is playing with strongest possible side against NZ .But i think NZ can give a tough fight simply because they have nothing to lose , also they have better spin attack than Aussies because of spinner like Vettori .Though i think India has to play very badly to get into trouble in any of the test matches and i hope Ahmadabad wicket is better this time so as to get a result not a boring draw.

I think in the current form india will win all the matches. The Kiwis are not a strong team and in test series we can easily win. In one days they are more stronger team than test. They have some good one day players. One days can be more tough, but still india is the better side.

Yes, they were once a much better ODI side... But any side that loses 0-4 to Bangladesh cannot be said to be a good side!! Cheers! Ram
