system is very very slow why?

hi yugasini, how are you friend? i was thinking it was only me having system problems. i was saying, it is slow signal of internet, probably too many online at the same time. but you said it is faster in internet cafes, then probably it is your computer. i am not good at this though. i learn from friends that causes of slow computer is because the space is already filled.. or rather there are too many programs installed. try removing those that are not being used so that you free some spaces. maybe that will help? have a nice day. ann

It's probably not your system. MyLot has been very slow for me since Thursday. And in the US it's not usually slow...

Remove unnecessary files from the system like temporary files and not in use files. Periodically scan and remove viruses and trojans. Do not download risky things, for example I was downloading PC games to play. My family members asked me not to as they are prone to viruses.

Have you installed casgopher? Really cashgopher eats lots of system resources and makes the PC run very slow. Combined with the Anti-virus, cashgopher is producing lot of heat and noise in my PC. When I exit cashgopher and continue, I see really a good improvement. Sometimes installing 2 anti-virus programs may slow down the computer. I've installed AVG and my Adobe, while updating, automatically installs norton without removing AVG, resulting in slow functioning. Then I uninstall the norton.

Please help me to understand. If i understand your situation, the computer is working slowly at home but fast at the nercafe. This would indicate to me that it's not your computer. If it had a virus then it would work slow both times not just at home. I think it sounds like your internet provider at your house. You may want to upgrade that if you can.

Just clear ur cache and cookies.Try scanning for malwares.Upgrade your memory card and video card.That will work.

Hye..i think there many reason ur computer working slow..first check ur computer speed..i mean RAM...512megabait?ue internet network...like server..ur computer data have more data...so u must delete the data not wanna to use...maybe game software...u can try the tips i give u...happy posting...

hello, If your system is fine,then maybe it is your internet connection that is giving you the problem. With net cafe they are using much higher mbps compared to household ones or modem (movable modem or usb) I am using a cable internet with outdoor satellite and it's working good,even with 3 units (since we are using router at home) You can asks your ISP regarding this matter so they can check it out. have a good day always

system may get slow dude to many reasons.it may be due to software or hardware reasons.what is the OS you are using ? try to use use windows 7 beacuse its been fixed against many virus and malwares or trojans which infects computer.so the chane f old virus attking is very less in suh case.that may be a reason for slowing of system.and look if you have enough RAM to manage your OS even less ram can make system slower.and look any programs are running in the background through task manager and terminate them if any.but perfect solution culdnt be given unless the cause is exactly known. not sure if you have tried this or not, but usually works for me... 1 - uninstall any software you don't use. 2 - defragment your hard drive. 3 - clean your system using something like ccleaner (free). i usually do 2 and 3 on a weekly basis if not more frequently :) good luck and i hope this helps
