before it, rooney has just signed contract with 250 million pounds, the highest salary in the world and then sneijder break it. Well, sneijder deserved it, winning triple thropy in one season is a good reason to raise his salary. But rooney...?? I dont think so...

I remember reading something similar though I do not remember the exact salary details. But I think Inter rate him very highly. Especially last season his performances in the Champions League has been very much appreciated. But does he deserve such a high salary, I am not sure. Cheers! Ram

I think it is about 270 thousand Euros per week, it is impossible to be 270 million pounds. The whole budget of Inter is about that amount, you have understood something wrong or misspelled. The biggest salaries in the football world are around 12-15 million Euros per season, so you can understand that it is impossible to be 270 pound per week. As for he deserved a raise in salary, I agree, but the salaries in football are too high, nobody deserves to have such a salary in my opinion. But this is how the world evolved, football players are very wealthy people and that is why they feel that they are kings of the world and they are very self centered people.

270 million pounds per week? You sure it is this amount? With that is true, in a couple of seasons, Sneijder will overtake Bill Gates as the richest man in the world. As for Rooney, I think the reputation had gone to his head. He need someone like Ferguson to keep him in check. But from the latest action, seem like the hair-dryer is giving in as well.
