Have u ever used proxy servers?

yes i use sometimes proxy server for different purposes so in general proxy servers are not illegal and so if some sites block the acess due to proxy servers is just because you will appear with different ip and so it would eb hard to retrieve if you use proxies...but in general is not illegal..it depends for wich purposes you are checking and using your proxy..

Well, I sometimes use a proxy, but only when I need to "escape" from internet filters or (worst of all) government filters, which block some sites. As for example, here in Italy people cannot directly access Piratebay, 'cause it has been blocked, so you're forced to use a foreign proxy if you want to access that site. This is just an example, of course. Proxies are very useful to get back the freedom of surfing the Net, which many governments try to shoot down every day.

why do you think it is illegal that using the proxy ? in my opinion ,we need new technology ,so we need try everything with various methords. never think it as illegale ,that only the operators think it being illegale.
