I'm not going to spoil the movie, but it was good. It had a very surprising end. Anybody else like it?

I enjoyed it, but it seemed that the rather ludicrous opening scene was the only part to make much use of the 3d, apart from the dream sequence, and that first scene was irrelevant to the plot. it wasn't part of the story. at no point in the ensuing investigation was this particular trap mentioned. so really it was irrelevant. and the 3d was pointless. 3d just doesn't work with live action. it has to be animated, or at least heavily CGId for there to be any point in 3d

don't get me wrong, it's still a good film. I just wish that 3d wasn't the only option, as I got very little reward for tolerating the safety light reflecting on the glasses lense. I'm very light sensitive the film was good, and similar to the more recent one in that the trap was based around one person but with the traps involving other people. which I have always found a bit uncomfortable. maybe because if it was someone I loved I would push myself harder to get through it than I would for my own sake. and as a result, this format resonates more with me than some solitary person in a trap and choosing their own fate. good film. pointless 3d. basically. it's one of the better saw films. 2 I found really cheesy, and the first one isn't really that good on repeated viewing. the later ones I like better. but I just don't know why they bothered 3ding it, because it added nothing to the experience. the moments you notice it, it's either because it's so daft or because the people look like cut outs.

Sorry for being off topic but I agree with what you people are saying. Recent a lot of 3D movies were released, for example Step up 3D which was indeed a very good and worth watching movie but in my opinion step up 2 was way better. It really is a waste of time and effort to make a 3D movie. I am really not impressed.

I agree. The 3D was basically a waste. I would have watched it normal if the option had been available.

I really want to watch this movie because I think Saw is one of the most complex and unpredictable movie.

It is extremely unpredictable. There are always new ways of dying/being killed. The end is real twist. Go see it when you get a chance. It's worth it.

I can bet. Do you have any idea if they will continue shooting more movies ? I would really like to see as much as possible of it.
