hi friends.i am having a lil trouble adjusting the aussie time.anyway just tuned in and found out that the aussies have done it again. remember during the first test against india where they allowed a match winning 9th wicket partnership against india. something similar happened today. chasing 240 to win the match, the lankans were 8 down for 107 with about 133 runs to get and guess what, they did due to a record 132 run partnership between mathews and malinga where murali put the finishing touches with a boundary. the aussies have already lost the only T20 match and now this. sure a great preparations for the ashes and the english must be jumping in joy.they might win the ashes in australia this time

Srilanka played well no doubt about that but its a extremely poor performance by Aussies , i mean 107 for 8 and thy could not take 2 wickets.Angelo is a class player but they could have taken out Malinga who is quite predictable while he is batting, he just takes room and hit the bowl down the ground and sadly for the Aussies they were bowling to his strength. This victory has given a big advantage to SL and they have great chances to win this series now.

Australia have been stunned by Sri Lanka. I think Australia must really be wondering that the art of stealing a match from a lost cause which was their hallmark, how other countries have now adopted it. At Mohali, India went on to win a lost match and now Sri Lanka came from behind to win a lost ODI match. The world record partnership between Malinga and Mathews was remarkable as much as the inability of the Aussies bowling line up to curb it!! I think Mathews is one of the best thing to happen to Sri Lankan cricket in recent times. Cheers! Ram

malinga have already proved his batting acilities and today again, also Mathews. He played a good knock under pressure. Aussies is struggling to play cricket well. They are loosing many, their form is not good ,I think. Their Ashes dreams may fail if they continue playing like this. They are following India in one think, India will usually play a match's first 70-80% well but at last the opposition will take it over. Aussies could have won easily if they tried well more in both matches. There is something wrong with aussies.............

A great unbelievable win for Sri Lankans. 132 runs partnership between Mathews and Malinga for 9th wicket. Needing 133 runs to win and only Muralitharan in the pavilion the pair played exceedingly well to win the match for Sri Lanka. Malinga scoring half century. He made similar contribution against India to win a test match for them. I had thought then that only India allows tail enders to score against them but now it is proved that Aussies also are no different. I don't understand Aussies' philosophy of dropping their star players like Ponting and Bolinger and loose matches on home grounds. May be they have got some better reasons to do that. I can't think of Aussies team for world cup without these star players.

This time SriLanka snatching match from the jaws of defeat from Australians. It was an amazing partnership between the 2 M's of SriLanka, Mathews & Malinga to win from a lost position. This type of game will bring interest in game, when at one moment one team looks completely down and out of the game and than they pull out the match. Australia is not able to finish game in their favor, first the test match against India where their nemesis Laxman came to India's rescue and now SriLanka also winning from a similar position this time in ODI's. Sure England players will be jumping in joy, they must be fancing their chances to hold on to Ashes.
