when it comes to speed and security, which web browsers is the best?

The world, Opera, Safari, Netscape, Tencent Travelers, Maxthon, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, which of this 9 web browsers is the best when it comes to speed and security? i'd tried using Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox which they said has fastest and safest web browser but in someway i'll still got malware/phishing, now i'm trying Google Chrome which so far i think its cool...so for you guys which do you think has fastest and safest web browser?

I don't know but i would never go for the internet explorer ever again since they are slower than firefox. well, that's about it. when it regards to security i am not sure.

I use so many web browsers but i like mozila firefox it the fastest and userfriendly software so i use it daily

I've only used Internet explorer and Mozilla firefox as web browsers, but i know which one i prefer. For me internet explorer was usually slow and doesn't have much security on it too, but Mozilla firefox i like as its quite fast and has a script blocker so i can block and unblock scripts that i want and don't want.

hi Bart to me my dear firefox mozilla is fast enough for me and ie is hopelessly slow, I still have it on my computer but seldom use it to mylot as I prefer firefox altogether. for malware and phishing you need a good free virus protection program..

I have been using Mozilla Firefox for almost 5 years now and got some problems with speed sometimes. But on security only so so... But nothing really that serious. I think you can only get viruses and malwares if you are not careful in your browsing habits.
Also no browser could protect you completely from those kind of damages. Only a separate software like internet security software can help you protect from these dangers.
