Any news from Patrick Dela Rosa?

I am not updated lately what happen to my surroundings. Is there somebody could share what happen to the case of Patrick Dela Rosa who was said a Rapist. I feel it was a frame up or the lady was just making a news out of Patrick's name. Since Patrick dela Rosa is an actor and the lady is just a no one in terms of Showbusiness.
Any update?

I think your generalization is totall unfair and below the belt. You don't know Patrick dela Rosa and for all you know he really did rape that girl. Just because he is in showbusiness does not mean that he can do no wrong - they are human beings too.
The news reported that Patrick dela Rosa entered the room where the girl was sleeping and went on top of her. He was chased by her friends and brought to the police station. The last I heard was that there was a settlement of sort, don't know what it was. The girl claims to be a student who just stopped by the party. Patrick dela Rosa never said anything on the issue.
I think both were drunk and Patrick thought that he can do anything with her. But the law says that a drunk woman cannot give consent and therefore that qualifies as rape. I think your idea of rape is just forcing women - that's outdated. However, a rape charge brings a lot of embarassment to both the man and the woman, and that is why probably she opted to settle the matter. The fact that Patrick chose to hide from the media speaks volumes to me.

I don't know Patrick at all. Why you know the girl who claimed she was raped?
Is the girl is raped, lets test the allegation and let the lady go underprocess of checking out her virginity and all that stuff. Lets also check if there's a semen of patrick inside her or vice versa.
If there's a law protecting the woman about being drunk.Why in man doesn't have one. There's an instances that some woman taking advantage of men when we are sleeping. Until the next thing we know she's pregnant and the father was the drunk person.
I believe Patrick hides because she never like to be into this kind of scandal. I recall their was an interview that he has a big respect on woman. I hope I recall that right.

I share the same feeling with you that Patrick Del Rosa was just framed up for unknown reasons. You know, our country is becoming like USA which is a very litigious country. Anybody who wants to suck money from certain well-off persons can just invent stories and accusation just to dig some gold.

I don't know where you are coming from when you say that we are becoming a litigious society. First of all, there was no litigation in this case - Patrick dela Rosa was caught in flagrante delicto, and therefore jailed while waiting for preliminary investigation. Secondly, there is no report of sucking of money in this case. Third, who else do you know that was framed-up for money (somebody popular okay, not just your neighbor)?
If Patrick dela Rosa was framed-up, why was he doing his best to hide from the media? If it were me, I would be shouting from the rooftop that I was framed. He has the money and the clout, so why hide? If there was any exchange of money, why did he agree? He is not popular anymore, excuse me. It may have raised my eyebrows to see him in the news, but certainly not enough for anyone to be hysterical about. And what gold are you talking about, this Patrick dela Rosa is a has-been. He may be comfortable in life, but he is not surrounded by gold. That's what he gets for thinking that he is God's gift to women.

hi syoti.just because this Patricxk Dela Rosa is a big shot actor and the woman he assualted is a nobody does not mean that he did not
rape her.She was drunk and had noway to defend herself. he they
say was also drunk and was seen lying down atop her. I feel very
sorry for the socalled nobody teen woman as she did not deserve
that at all.An actor who is male is just as able to rape someone as
any other m an. His being a celebrity does not mean he is not guilty
as charged.Celebrities are human b eings just like the rest of us and can be as good or as evil as anyone else.

Unfortunately we live in a world where people are vigilant sue happy people. Where truly there are so many and unfortunately the real cases do not get heard. The court systems are so bombarded that they feel they have heard it all before, and well it gets guilty people off and the victims are made as the villeins.
