I was looking up info on a topic I saw on the news I wanted to discuss and I cam across this footage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_i-RIQnuhk&NR=1&feature=fvwp Basically it's a contravesy that the model is "too sexy" or as assumed "too fat" to be portrayed in such a way. Do you think she is too fat? Sorry but I'm a plus size girl and I'd love to have her figure even as a "plus size" model! But you know it's more acceptable to have the models who are in Victoria Secrets commercials running all over the airwaves. And of course I was reading that a model over about a size 6 or so is considered "plus size" wich isn't true as plus size technically doesn't start til about a 14/16. What do you think?

hi 3SnuggleBunnies I would love to look like she did and I am way bigger too. Lane BRyant has some really classy looking models too. I see nothing wrong with looking curvy and gorgeous too. and not skinny or anorexic

I think that she is a stunner - absolutely beautiful. I am a 16 - was a 20 but plan to get down to a 14 but very slowly as I do not want many more lines on my face A 14 is way okay for me as I am 5'6" or 5' 5" - can't remember

the media is hopelessly skewed with they ideals they force on people. i don't know why anybody pays them any mind. these are the same type of people who expect a 5'8 model to weigh 98 pounds. but no,she looks healthy to me.i've known girls who had their hair fall out starving to reach somebody else's ideals.

The media does an awful job at portraying the perfect size. Because of this so many have eating disorders which is very deadly. Just the other day my boyfriend and I were watching a movie and I remember commenting. That Marilyn Monroe was a size 14, a size many women today are considered plus size. This is an area that I know very well, as a woman size 14 is considered, oh my to be fat, in the eyes of the media unless you are size 6. With my previous line of work I can tell you the great lengths the young women went through to lose weight. It was a dangerous area one that lead to many addictions. I do not find a woman size 14 or 16 to be fat.
