Can someone please tell me where to find my IP address?

Hi yall. I have been looking on site after site, and either I'm not concentrating, or I am too dum to figure out what or where my IP address is. Pretty please, will help? Thanks sooooooooooo much!

Thank you so much for helping me find my ip address so quickly. It has been awhile since I asked for this info, but I was just going through my discussions to see if I had missed anyone in the past and I had after. So I just wanted you to know like I like to let everyone know who responds to me that I appreciate you very much for taking the time out to try and help a fellow mylotter out in time of need. above have been saying where you can find your ip address. why you want to know your ip address. if you want to know your location with out false you can try www.speedtest.net i always use this site when i want to use fake ip.. hahaha

It is likely that you have a dynamic IP address, which means that every time you connect to your ISP the server will allocate you an IP address from their database. This would mean that your IP address would be different if you disconnected and then reconnected. This is the standard for most ISPs, so if you need to use your IP address for a specific reason then you should request a static IP address from your provider. Most of them offer this feature and I have a static IP address. If you are using a router, then most of the responses so far would actually give you the internal IP address, which is the identifier on the network that allows the router to find your computer and usually starts 192.168 followed by 2 more numbers. To find the IP address used online you should log into your nrouter via a browser and check the Basic Settings.

As I read response with your discussion most of them advice you the right way. I just added some which is supported from our friends suggestion. WhatmyIP and Speedtest is enough to locate your IP address...if your using dynamic IP address which is not directly found in your laptop or computer. But if you used static IP address the IP address can be found in control panelnetwork connectionand IP configuration...
