Guys I have been suffering from migraines for a long time. I cannot pin point what foor or activity might trigger these attacks. Do you guys have any idea?

One cause of these severe types of headache is parasitic. These are most concentrated in a meat diet. The vegan diet is very cooling & will help your body overcome the situation in time, though if you want it to go away faster, you may wish to consult with a good naturopath / homeopath or other health professional. Short term fixes don't seem to be working for you, so you need to look at the situation more holistically.

As soon as I start feeling one coming on I pop an execedrin migraine pill and drink lots of coffee. For me caffeine helps a great deal. Chocolate helps too. If I reach a certain point though eating and drinking will only make me throw up.

I don't know what causes migraine. But, here is some thing that might of interest to you. I have heard of true stories of people who goto rid of migraine. The way is practising meditation. There are cases where people who had been suffering from migraine attacks for years totally got rid of it by regularly practising meditation. You might want to try that too. Just sit for an hour a day, whenever convenient for you.

I drink coke heavily before and the refreshing effect it had on me seem to cure any migraine. I'm not drinking now but I still have no migraine. I commonly take orange juice though which I find to relieve stress. Headaches can be caused by bright light or stress so the first thing to do is to keep a cool head.

Triggers can really vary a lot for different people, so what I would suggest is to read about the most common triggers and then try avoiding them, one at a time, for a while to see if you see any improvement. You might also want to consult with a doctor, if you find one who knows a little something about migraines they might really be able to help you out (that's what I did).

My doctor had my mom keep a journal when I was a kid of what I ate that day. It helped me learn my triggers; chocolate, hot dogs, monosodium glutamate and food dyes. Stress also triggers them.

I think, by having a habit of regularly drinking plenty of water, you will get rid of your migraine. Water will help you flush out toxins that are causing migraine attack.
