I think I more or less agree with your team, the only change is that I would have moved Balotelli up front in place of Gyan and put in Paul Scholes in the middle. I would have also put Drogba in the subs bench as his arrival nearly changed the complexion of the game against Liverpool, though Reina and the cross bar denied Chelsea. The other change that I might consider is replace Pedersen with Barton, because I thought it was one of his best ever performance in a long long time. He hardly gave the ball away the whole of the evening and even managed to rein in his temper :) Cheers! Ram

Well I wouldn't put Drogba on places. He didn't score, and he is not on the top. Pedersen could be replaced with Barton, because it's long time sice he has played that well.

I would put Drogba in most of my teams, just for the physicality he brings to the team. He pulls the defenders and that would make it easy for the others to strike around him. Imagine Drogba pulling the defenders and giving a free run to Torres!! Cheers! Ram

Well yes, but now we talk about the team of the week, and not the team of the year. I know Drogba is an excellent player, but he is not on his top right now, and he only played 45 minutes without to score.

Balotelli might have scored two goals but he was also red-carded. So for that, I think he should be out of the team. I would replace him with, surprise surprise, Joey Barton. He gave a calm and composed display against Arsenal, unlike the hot-headed player that he is known as.

Well it could have been. I think it's okay, that Balotelli is on the team. It's not easy to score 2 goals in one match, and since City has lost the 3 lastest matches, he got them on the win again, so I think it's okay.
