Made in China

Many, many years back...products that seems fake, whether it is from china or not, people tends to come with 'that product is made in China' meaning it is fake. Trade mark violation has been complained vehemently by foreign companies. I read in one of the dailies too that the Government are cracking down on fake brands in other to build better positive image to outsiders. A lot of replicas I had seen coming from that country. If not for the fact that they tends to go by replicas, I think if they give their own names instead it'll be alright. In my opinion as far as they are not stepping on toes, I think they are alright. I can use their products. Its so funny how we assume any fake and cheap reap off products to be made in China. One of their many dazzling products is a $44,000 GEELY GE a cheap copy of a classic Rolls Royce compare to the whooping price tag $366,530 or the original. A price range would definately attract quite a few buyers who would love to experience the same luxury without paying a hefty sum.

i am really shocked and sad when i saw your opinion about make in china.as i use the products all the time. i think everything is not always categorical. for the sellers want more profit, they ask for cheaper things which couldn't have better quality, apparently. and i think they just find out that china have the condition to make them content.so just don't depreciate the really products which make in china. i hope you can come ro china someday to experience the real china...

Made in China is not always cheap and fake. Depending on brand and quality the price also varies. Some products made in China are quite expensive and the quality also is good comparable to international brands.

It is unfair! Made in China of course does not mean cheap and fake. Most times it means high quality and inexpensive because of China's vast size and resources.

Then there is- Russia sells weapons of war that don't work. German engineering is always good. I know from experience this is for the most part true however, try to take it apart to fix it and when electronics are involved you have to remove a bunch of stuff to get to it! Irish are always drunk and believe in little leprechauns. The list is endless!

Some fake products can have the same quality as the original products. My brother went to Vietnam and bought a lot of cheap sport shirts and shoes. The price of the fake products are about 4 times lower. After my comparison, the design and the quality of the fake products are equivalent to the original products. I have wore and used those products for more than a year. Before, I did compare to those in the hypermarket as Jusco and so on.

I am not a marketing professional but as an ordinary user of made in China products. Now a days every thing of our daily life is with a tag of Made in China, yes in past it was a general theory among people that any fake thing ll have a tag made in China but now this concept is changed and people prefer to buy product which has made in China tag, and this is due to their price and easy availability all over the world...:) Be happy and be the reason of happiness in others life...:)

I feel however which way I look it as being a cheap fake or not, as long as so many Americans continue to purchase the items the cheap items will continue to be made and sold. But I remember back when it truly was a joke, now it seems that many seriously look for them first as they find it will save them money.

Do You know that at some point "Made in Korea" and "Made in Japan" was a joke? Do You realize that pretty much everything these days are made in China, even 1/5 of the population :) It is just part of globalization and off shoring. There can be fake things from all over the world. Italy produces fake clothes and so? Does "Made in Italy or France" always equals quality?
