Personally I prefer to wash my own as then I am the only one handling my clothes. I also think that I take better care of my clothing fabrics as I am very meticulous and handle everything with care.

hi I love washing clohtes and folding them, seeing them all fresh asn clean. so no nobody touches my clothes but me but here I have no choice as I am in a retirement center and am waited on hand and foot. not my style but its either live here or on the street which is no choice.When we were in our own apartment I always did my own washing. why would I need helpers? I live in America where we do our own work. only the rich have helpers whatever that means.We pride ourselves on taking care of ourselves.

Will the helpers do it for free?

i think i prefer to clean by my self won clothers than ask helpers for it.. why we must ask somebody else if we can do it by our selves
