Well, it donsn't sound very healthy I think. You can make energy in jour body without food. And your should have around 6 meals at one day. 3 big and 3 small(snacks). And to skip a dinner is not very healthy for your body.

well, not really skip it.. just eat something healthy for the energy such as vegetable. and make sore not to eat any rice or carobhydrate in night. I did that for around 4 months and my weight plump down from 110 KG to around 75 KG now

Skipping meals is one of the worst things you can do in order to lose weight, this article pretty much explains why; http://healthmad.com/weight-loss/do-not-cut-the-number-of-meals-if-you-want-to-lose-weight/ Ofcause given that you dont during all the other meals have a calorie intake heigher than your calorie consumption.

I have not really weighed myself before and after my attempts to diet. Recently, I could feel that I have gained weight. My clothes felt tighter. I almost could not zip up my pants and I could see my tummy bulge. So I decided that I needed to lose some weight before things get out of hand. I thought that I wanted to just change one or two things in my diet and see if it works. First of all, I cut down on drinking soft drinks. I told myself that I can only drink 1 can/glass of soft drink per day. I drank more water instead. I also drank green tea without sugar. Apparently, that can help you to lose weight. By just doing this simple thing, my clothes fit better and I could feel my tummy bulge lessen. I guess my body started to detox and I lost weight that way.

Did you really just follow these simple two thinks, no soft drinks and drank just green tee without sugar. What about the food and exercise? If it's really just these things there can do it, so it's very easy. But I don't think you can lose 3 kg with just cutting down of soft drinks and drinking green tee?

Hi Anna, I really don't know how much I lost. I don't think it's much anyways. If I really want to tone my body and have a flat tummy, I know I got to do some form of exercise, probably crunches and jogging. Crunches would target the tummy area, while jogging can do both the tummy and overall weight. If you are serious about dieting, then food and exercise got to go hand in hand. I started with these two steps because this is what I can manage for now. But I can already see the difference, though it's small. I know water helps you to detox and avoid water retention, so must drink lots. As for green tea, I read somewhere that you can lose some weight (albeit not much) if you drink green tea without sugar. It still taste great and I don't mind it at all.

But I wan't to lose a lot. And I think I would start to drink a lot of water, and after that make my diet a lot diffrent with step by step. And I heard that with green tea. My mother and father has a shop, so they have a lots of tea. And after my diet I will focus on my exercise.

for me, i lost weight by taking only 1 whole meal in a day. but in between i took some light foods, drink chocolate or milk if i feel hungry. i drink hot tea after meal. then, i replace softdrink with green tea and drink normal water, not a cold one. last time my clothes are all large sizes, but now i can already wear small size clothes. :)

I heard that before, and that would help a lot. And you should drink a lot of water before dinner. That would help you to be full faster.

I've lost about 5 pounds so far (BUT I've just started!) Drink water. Cut out your soda, energy drink, or sugary juice intake. Opt for fat-free options of a lot of your favorite foods. Eat in moderation. Schedule fun things to do with your friends and family BESIDES eating. Develop a work out routine. Try a bunch of differnent machines until you find one you like (personally, I love the elliptical or "ski machine" as I call it). This will make working out more enjoyable. Anyway, those are some little things. But biologically, you need to burn more calories than you eat to lose weight. There are plenty of different programs that you could do this through, or you could definitely develop a diet plan of your own, just make sure you don't deprive yourself. At the minimum, eat about 1200 calories per day. Well, good luck anyway. I know it's a tough journey - but if you put the effort and time into it, you WILL see results!

funny i should read this today. my husband just came back from the dr. and he was so happy. his dr. said he has lost 20 pounds ( i don't know how many kilos that is, but he looks great ) also his blood pressure, a problem before, is normal. his dr. and i are very pleased that he is healthy. i can tell you how he did it and it seems to have been easy for him; he stoped eating white food...yes, white. no potatos, pasta or rice. he stoped eating sugar. no soda pop. he eats as much as he wants of everything else. he was never hungry. i bought sugar free pudding and sugar free candy if he wanted something sweet. rye bread instead of white. maybe this will work for you. good luck.
